Coffee farming is tough work, but growing coffee from seed to harvest is only part of the job. Once the coffee is harvested, the real work starts: processing.

Processing coffee is the act of removing the layers of skin, pulp, mucilage, and parchment that surround a coffee bean—the raw ingredient that the farmer will sell. How a grower chooses to process the coffee will have a profound impact on how that coffee tastes.

Even if the coffee was picked perfectly ripe and the harvest has gone really well, bad coffee processing can lead to defects which decrease the value of the coffee. Some processing methods require more time, investment and natural resources, not only that but also our guests will get the chance to prepare the best cup of coffee for them selves.

Stingless bees project.

Stingless bees (Meliponini) are the largest and most diverse group of social bees, yet their largely tropical distribution means that they are less studied than their relatives, the bumble bees and honey bees. Stingless bees produce honey and collect pollen from tens of thousands of tropical plant species and, in the process, provide critical pollination services in the tropics.

Zero grazing is a system where the grass is harvested and fed fresh to housed cattle on a daily basis. It allows farms to increase fresh grass utilization and milk yield from grass/forage where that farm may not have the infrastructure to graze cattle.
